I visited Vrelo Bosne in April, 2015
—
Today, after first going to the War Tunnel Museum I visited Vrelo Bosne, the spring of the river Bosna, located in a beautiful park just outside Sarajevo. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the park was amazing.
The park was not maintained much during the war and many of the trees were used as firewood by the local population. Maintaining a park is not the biggest priority for people during a war.
In the year 2000 the park was restored to its former glory and it really is beautiful.
The park can be reached by taking tram number 3 to Ilidža, and from there it is about a twenty minute walk. Alternatively you can choose to be ridden in a horse and carrige.
At one of photos you mentioned mount Ignam. Right name for this mount is Igman. It is a olympic mount since XIV Winter Olympic games held in Sarajevo 1984.
Thank you, did not notice the mistake. Will fix it
